Good
news everyone! We have a date for our next roller
race night. It is Friday the 27th January again
at the Ridge Primary School, Gregory Road, Stourbridge.
DY8 3NF. Doors open at 6.30pm and the first
race will start at 7.00pm prompt. Please try
to be signed in by 6.50pm latest.
Road or track bikes (no cyclo-cross tryes),
with BC gear restrictions for under 16s. Entry
fee £1.50 for under 12's all other categories
£3.00.
We had good numbers last time let's get even
more here this time. I think everyone agreed
the first night was a fun evening with some
good racing. If any club member needs or wants
to hire a club bike please let me know before
the 25th January and we will do our best to
get a club bike there. The hire charge will
be £1.00.
In order for us to plan program early could
you please let me know whether you plan to attend.

who wishes to attend needs to complete and return
to Jess Potts a "registation and parental
consent form" . These forms are available
from BC web site or see Phil Reynolds . There
will be no charge but you must pre-register.

We have a Go-Ride race on the 18th Feb. This is an event for novice racers on freewheel bikes on the track. £2.00 entry fee and each rider will get a Go-Ride drinks bottle. They will each get several races including time trials and pursuits. Medals and certificates for winners in each category. Open to juniors up to age of 16. 10.00am start. Happy New year to you all and hope you all had an enjoyable Christmas.
Following on for the AGM and election of the club committee, we would like to invite each of of our members to an open forum meeting. It is our intention to hold at least two of these each year in addition to the normal AGM, where you will be able to meet all the committee members, as well as each other and also give you the opportunity to ask those burning questions (website, training etc.), raise any issues and find out what the club has in store over the coming months over a drink or two.
To make this a successful proactive night , we would appreciate as many members to attend as possible. The meeting will be held in the the club house at 8.00 pm on WEDNESDAY 25th JANUARY.

Stourbridge Cycling Club have arranged their Reliability Trial. It will be taking place on 5th February from Dudley Kingswinford Rugby Club, Wall Heath. All welcome.
Entry fee £3, same route as last year. The entry fee goes towards insurance, signage and any left over will go towards youth cycling development.

A date for your diary: Halesowen Cyclo Cross Championships will take place on the 5 February. Sign on at 9.30am to start racing at 10.00. There will be an Under 8/10 race, Under 12, Youth and Senior/Vets/Juniors and Ladies depending on numbers. If only a few people turn up, we may amalgamate categories.
