welfare
As a Go-Ride club and an accredited Sports England Clubmark club, we take welfare issues, including child protection and the protection of vulnerable adults very seriously.
Halesowen Athletic and Cycling Club fully accept our legal and moral obligation to provide a duty of care to protect all children and vulnerable adults and to safeguard their welfare, irrespective of age, disability, gender, racial origin, religious belief and sexual identity.
If at any time a member has a concern relating to another member they should contact the club's Welfare Officer, Marion Bailey, in confidence.
Telephone Marion Bailey on 0121 422 6604 or e-mail her here.
Child protection concerns can also be raised with British Cycling.
Under 16s who participate in our coaching and training programmes and to race in Club colours, we do need formal consent from a parent or legal guardian. Our parental consent form is available here.
