Membership Policy
Halesowen Cycling Club would like to offer a very warm welcome and hope that you will soon be part of the growing crowd who are “Proud to wear purple”. The club offers a variety of memberships and we are sure you will find one to suit your needs. If you are not sure, we do offer three “taster sessions” where for a small fee you can take part in our training sessions giving you the opportunity to see if you like. Should you wish to take out our full membership, the taster fee you have paid is deducted from the membership fee. However, as we are a private members club, continued use of our facilities and participation in our programme is not available to non-members.

Full Membership Full members have free access to all of our facilities, including the track, the woods for those who fancy a bit of off-road training, the changing rooms and of course the bar and clubhouse. As full members you may also join in our coaching, training and recreational cycling programme, including track sessions, club runs, circuit training and roller training. Most are free of charge, however a small fee may be requested to cover additional expenses (e.g. hire of alternative venue Newport, Stourport etc.).

Road Membership Road membership is ideal for those who race or ride recreationally on the road and who do not wish to use the track. Road members may not ride on the track (except for races where a separate entry fee is paid) or join in coaching sessions, but are welcome in the clubhouse and on Sunday morning club runs.

Social Membership If you don't cycle but you want to enjoy the convivial atmosphere, friendly company and perhaps the excellent real ale or other beverages in our clubroom and bar, you can take out social membership. Please note that social members may not use the track or other facilities or join in our cycling sessions.

Membership is from 1st January to 31st December and the fees for 2012 are as follows. Membership renewals must be paid in full by 31st March or an extra fee of £20.00 will be payable.
