Judging by the hits that Johns comment has had I guess you will all be wondering why he's congratulating me

Last week I accepted the appointment of Track Cycling Competition Manager for the London Olympic Games

That means I have to up sticks and move to London for the next 2 years or so, as its a full time job working at the LOCOG offices on Canary Wharf.

You can imagine that for me its a once in a lifetime opportunity - to be at the heart of an olympic games in your home country - it really doesn't get any better than that

I'm excited by the job as you can imagine !! Cool
