Halesowen is a club where all the family are welcome.
There is something for everyone to try and an unlimited possibility of what can be achieved!
Halesowen Cycling Club would like to offer a very warm welcome and hope that you will soon be part of the growing crowd who are “Proud to wear purple”. The club offers a variety of memberships listed in the table below, we are sure you will find one to suit your needs. If you are not sure, we do offer two free “taster sessions” where you can take part in our training sessions giving you the opportunity to see if you like them. However, if you wish to continue after the taster sessions you will be required to take out membership. As we are a members club, continued use of our facilities and participation in any programme is not available to non-members.

Membership runs yearly from 1 April to 30 March. Membership renewals must be paid in full by
30 March 2022.
The total cost of the membership is displayed in the first column. Adjacent to that is a simple breakdown of where your membership is going. The dividend of the membership fee going to the main club is what pays for facility maintenance other developments. The remaining funds are what allow the section to run many important things like coaching courses and this website.
Full members have free access to all of our facilities, including the track, the woods for those who fancy a bit of off-road training, the changing rooms and the bar and clubhouse. As full members you may also join in our coaching, training and recreational cycling programme, including track sessions, club road runs, circuit training. Most are free of charge, however a small fee may be requested to cover additional expenses (e.g. hire of alternative venue Newport Velodrome, Stourport Circuit etc.).
Road membership is ideal for those who race or ride recreationally on the road and who do not wish to use the track or club facilities. Road members may not ride on the track (except for races where a separate entry fee is paid) or join in coaching sessions, but are welcome in the clubhouse and on Sunday morning club runs.
If you don't cycle but you want to enjoy friendly company and perhaps the excellent real ale or other beverages in our clubroom and bar, you can take out social membership. Please note that social members may not use the track or other facilities or join in our cycling sessions.
Any Elite rider who has progressed to a UCI professional team may benefit from a reduced membership. Each member must have paid 3 years’ continual full HACC membership - a 50% discount is allowed on the then current cycling section fee ONLY (the full management fee remains payable upon renewing membership). The discount shall only be available for a maximum period of 3 years.
